Keeping in mind I actually like the show.
“I remember that hilarious mini-comic you wrote called, ‘Things NOT to say to a comic book shop employee’. Anything new to add to that list with time and now being an owner of a fab shop?”

You’re the best, Mike! Thanks for always making us smile. :)
Maybe I’m just the grumpy old man in the room but I still can’t figure out how any self-respecting fan of comics (or any nerd culture) for that matter can even sit through that thing. It’s like a minstrel show with nerds. It’s disrespectful of the community, it perpetuates the stereotype, and most of all it is badly written and unfunny. I’m the nerdiest nerdy nerd in my general vicinity but 98% of the people I work with or know (outside of the shop) are always surprised when I start talking about comics or toys and such. It’s not like I’m hiding it, just don’t saunter around town acting like a dufus. Just my opinion, and just like you’re opinion – we’re both right and can live amicably in the same space.
