Three of the heroes are worried about their wives or girlfriends, while Batman has no woman in his life, and therefore only has to worry about his crimefighting partner, with whom he’s clearly shaken hands following a successful capture of an arch-criminal and passed on the “doom” described by the villain in that panel! Just goes to show you that there’s more than one way these evil fiends can trip up our favorite heroes!

There is a particular panel in a Captain America comic wherein the villain (not sure who) says “Captain America! I command you to–“; said panel also records the sound effect of Captain America’s shield hitting another villain (The Controller) as “WANK!” If the reader approaches the material with a certain insouciance (and a small knowledge of British slang), he (or she) may interpret the command of the first villain, combined with the sound effect, as an instruction for Captain America to masturbate. This is clearly hilarious. While the title of your post refers to “some funny out-of-context comic panels” and not “all funny out-of-context comic panels” (italics mine), I fell your failure to include this particular gem merits note.
It should likewise be noted that I (hilariously) failed to close my italics tag.

I think you’re missing the humor of the Archie one. If you look at the way the characters are placed, they’re clearly standing roughly an equal distance from the shoreline, yet the other boys are waist-deep while Archie’s barely wet. In fact, he seems to be walking on the water! Archie is revealed as the son of God we always thought he would be; in “rescuing” Betty, he becomes her literal and spiritual salvation.
But wait! Archie/Christ is a figure of love, not violence; so what are we to make of his decision to “beat off” those poor heathens?
Batman’s quote is epic
