Frankly, I’m not sure where I stand.

From Yahoo Answers:

“Yes it is so unique!!!!!! <3 but I would spell it: Cwompe Thenge" "WTF really lol I'd say big asss NO!" "Hahaha 'Swamp Thing be nicer to your brother!' I like the sound of that." "Swamp Thing's daughter is named Tefe. (tay-fay) It's a river in the Amazon jungle. Call her Tefe. Source(s): 1990s Swamp Thing comics"

I didn’t submit that last one.

  1. Tefé is pronunced “Te-fay.” Not “Tay-fay.” You’d think that after a total of 90 appearances, (80 with her Swamp Thing powers, her last 10 without), people would at least know how to pronounce her name…

  2. The way the question is phrased it’s possible that the daughter is already named Swamp Thing, “Gayle” is just asking if this is a good thing or not.

  3. It probably goes without saying that they’ve already decided on “Man-Thing” if it’s a boy.

“Swamp Thing” is a nicely androgynous alternative, though. Sort of like “Chris” or “Daryl.”
