  1. There is absolutely no reason for DC to not put out an eight issue mini- with this title. Tom King killed off The Human Target (spoiler), who would be a better replacement? Mike Sterling: TELL ME!

  2. Lois can join the illustrious roster of the “Torpedo Family” along with The Golden Age Red Torpedo (originally published by Quality Comics), and DC’s more recent android also named the Red Torpedo.

    @ Wayne

I nominate Roy Harper to become the new Human Target–just don’t let Tom King write it.

Bringing it all back home to Supergirl, there already was a “Woman of Tomorrow”–the character called Tomorrow Woman, who was an android created by T.M. Morrow to infiltrate and destroy the Justice League…

  3. I remember when Nazis were evil, racist, genocidal scum that you (mostly) only ran across in comics, movies, or video games.

    Good times…

  4. DC is going to have to change this secret identity for Lois. Marvel already has a character named the Human Torpedo. Although, counter-intuitively, he flies through the air. No involvement with water, at all. I can see Lois joining the Sea Devils though. Lois Lane would go well with Dane Dorrace on that team. Maybe she could go by Liquid Lass if she wanted a secret identity (not the best descriptor of her powers, as that sounds like a Doom Patrol or Metamorpho character).

  5. @ Chris V

I thought the Marvel character was just called Torpedo. Wasn’t he in Marvel Premier in the late ’70s?

How about Lois Lane as “Fluid Femme?” She could powers similar to those of Fluid Man from The Impossibles…

  6. “Torpedo. Wasn’t he in Marvel Premier in the late ’70s?”

Yes, and then he was in ROM, and then he died fighting Dire Wraiths.

(also turns out the Torpedo suit was secretly funded by Wraiths).
