And now, for no particular reason, here is a cover for an issue of the Punisher magazine they published in England.
From 1989, reprinting in color issue #4 of the 1986 Punisher mini-series by Steven Grant, Mike Zeck and John Beatty. Also includes a black and white reprint of one of The ‘Nam comics by Doug Murray, Michael Golden and Armando Gil.
And here is the come-on for the next issue, from inside the front cover:
YES SIR, MR. CASTLE, SIR
Frank Castle wants you to stick it to the ‘Nam!
I… I missed issue 5’s free stickers!
Somebody hide me!
Wow! this issue actually got me into marvel/dc comics. it only ran for 30 weeks, but instilled a life long fondness for frank castle who servedd in the nam, not the current soft reboot desert storm one. funny thing is, the back up before in the 1st 3 issues was an adaptation of robocop! dunno why u posted it, but my 12 year old thanks u sir
btw,I read it in glasgow, scotland!!! england is not the UK!! (bit like if you called a canadian an american)(tho i just found out william shatner was canadian so there u go)
