Well, we all just finished working a 15+ hour day at the shop…
…for one of our very semi-occasional Midnight Madness sales, so I’m downright pooped as I write this (at 1:40 Sunday morning). Thus, all you’re getting today is a photo taken at said event, featuring Employee Aaron and Kempo, his lovely significant other:
I’m pretty sure this photo is weapons-grade cuteness.
Anyway, they’re going to the San Diego Comic Con next week, so if you see them there, be sure to ask Aaron to show you his cat ears. It’s good luck if you rub them.
Whew, a fifteen-hour shift in the ol’ comics mine. Be careful or you’ll end up catching Mylaria. ;)
Wow, 15 hours? That’s hardcore. I used to love my job at my LCS, except for those days when I had to work more than 10 hours. Of course, those days usually involved MTG, and while I loved helping the comic fans, I hated the card players with a hatred generally reserved for pedophiles and ignorant racists.
Does your store carry the card games, and if so, do you note any differences between your comic and card customers?
He looks like a young Neil Young. But, y’know … cat ears.
The Midnight Madness sale was excellent, as in good deals to be had (and an awesomely cute picture of Aaron and Kempo). However, I recommend that you have a deoderant mister at the entrance so as to keep down the fanboifunk. Oy. It was very ripe in there.

I’d ask occasional store employee Tim (aka BeefBoi) about the difference between comic and game customers. He might be persuaded to offer up an opinion.
