So for the past few days, I’ve been working on clearing out a bunch of dead stock from the back room (which may have triggered my early-90s reminiscing in recent posts). And, let me tell you, after looking at Bloodstrike and Brigade and Doom’s IV and Deathmate…I have reconsidered my commitment to a free press.
Yes, that’s right, Image Comics has made me hate the First Amendment. As I was looking through box after box of this junk, I found myself actually thinking, “couldn’t the government have stepped in and put a stop to this?”
Basically, if it comes down to “fascism” or “more issues of Team Youngblood” — I’m afraid I’m just gonna have to go with “fascism.” Sorry, gang.
